The Great Smoky Mountains, a part of the Appalachian Mountain chain, is a place like no other. The natural history and beauty of these ancient mountains attract photographers from around the world. One never forgets their visit to this wonderful place, with its beautiful mountains, spring wildflowers, autumn foliage, waterfalls, cascading rivers, and abundant wildlife, including species found no where else on earth.
